Located on a quiet street just after getting off at Nishitozaki Station, a comforting space unfolds as you pass through the noren (fabric divider). The cheerful greetings from the chef and the proprietress are warm, allowing you to relax immediately even if it's your first visit. The recommended sushi set includes eight pieces along with a tekka maki (tuna roll), and each piece of fish is fresh and satisfying. The particularly tender squid and fragrant salmon left a strong impression, making me smile involuntarily. The small dishes, including mini chawanmushi (savory egg custard), cha soba (green tea noodles), and miso soup with seaweed and tofu, are also plentiful, ensuring that you can enjoy the meal without getting bored until the end. By the time I was leaving, I realized I was filled with nostalgic flavors and warmth from the people.
