...A scam? ...Is it normal in Osaka? I don't usually write reviews, but I am reviewing this so that no one else will suffer the same damage. The restaurant itself is 0, but the food was normal, so I gave it a 3. I gave it a 1.5 between the two. My wife and I traveled to Osaka-Kobe with a friend's wedding in Osaka the day before. My wife wanted to eat eel and I wanted to drink sake, so we made a reservation at this restaurant that she had researched. We arrived a little after midnight, earlier than planned. There were not more than 10 customers in the restaurant. About half of the seats were occupied. I ordered a limited 20-serving entrée for 980 yen, which I had seen on the restaurant's food log. But I was already there...! ...but we were told that the 20 orders were already gone. It hadn't been long since the restaurant opened, and there were only about 10 customers in the restaurant, but 20 orders were already gone...? Looking around the restaurant, less than half of the customers had ordered the ojuyu itself. How many of those people are enraptured by the ojyu is unknown. It is hard to imagine, but there were about 20 people in line from the time the restaurant opened, and all of them must have eaten the otsujyu and left the restaurant. If they entered the restaurant before midnight, they must have been covered by the other diners. The waitress told me that I could order the "Utsuju" for 1,280 yen (plus 300 yen). Hmm...? Oh, that's what they wanted. That's the plan, huh? (I think he's being cunning.) We had no choice but to order the Gokuraku Utsuju 1880 yen and potato salad. The front of the restaurant listed a highball for 190 yen, but I was suspicious, so I checked that as well before ordering. Incidentally, there was a note on the menu that said, "You will be charged for an appetizer from 2:30 p.m.," but I also confirmed that it was still past midnight. The customer next to me also ordered the "Utsuju" but was surprised to learn that 20 orders had already been placed and that it could be served for only 1,280 yen. The customer next to him was not satisfied with the number of customers and asked what time the order was over, but the waiter replied that he did not remember. The waiter replied that he could not remember. The clerk answered, "Around 12:00...? I felt sorry for the waiter who had to be so vague, but I guess this is the management policy of the restaurant. I wonder if this is a normal business practice in Osaka. Back to the story, I had a glass of highball with potato salad as snack, and waited for the arrival of the entrée. It arrived in a few minutes. I guess they serve it warm instead of cooking it after the order is placed. For the price, that is not a problem. The taste was satisfactory considering the price. The sauce is thick and the rice goes well with it. I would like to mention that the sansho (Japanese pepper) on the table was strangely delicious. If you go there, you should put it on. After refilling my highball and getting my fill, it was time to pay the bill. What? Even though it was not yet 1:00 p.m., there was an overtime charge. I presented the fact that both the drink menu and the food menu stated that "An appetizer charge will be added from 2:30 p.m." and asked the waiter if I had made a mistake. The waiter told us that the menu had recently been changed. The menu on our table was the old one, I asked if there was a new menu, They replied that they did not have a new menu. ...？？？？ The menu has changed, but there is no new menu? No reduced menu? It is a mystery. What has changed? I have looked at past reviews and it is the same menu. If they have changed, they should put a new menu. If the restaurant is charging an appetizer before 1:00 p.m. after stating that the appetizer will be served from 2:30 p.m., they should at least remove that proviso. I advised him that he should at least remove the proviso, but he replied with a sullen, "...I guess so..." He replied with a sullen smile. I wonder if this is normal in Osaka. I checked again to make sure there was really no mistake, but he said there was no mistake, so I paid. When I asked for a credit card, I was told that cards cannot be used for amounts less than 3,000 yen. I know it is forbidden to put a monetary limit on the use of credit cards, but I didn't want to talk about it anymore, so I paid in cash, even though it was a hassle. It was an unpleasant experience for me to come all the way to Osaka. They must have thought I was a tourist and could be ripped off. As an aside, afterwards To get rid of this unpleasant feeling, I had a drink at a standing bar I had researched. I was saved by the fact that the sashimi here was unbelievably delicious.... The bill was very clear.

I've been to so many places! What did you order? Gokuraku Utsuju (1680 yen including tax) 1/2 eel grilled chicken egg yolk So gorgeous! It looks great! Eel is so good! What's this? Costa ◎◎ I will definitely repeat!
