If you head a little up the mountain from the station, you will find a calm and cozy udon shop. In addition to counters and tables, there are also tatami rooms, making it easy to sit alone or in a group. The weekday set meals come with steaming hot udon, rice, and small side dishes, which will fill you up nicely. I chose curry soba and seasoned rice, and the thick broth paired perfectly with the fragrant rice. The meat and egg udon has a sweet flavor reminiscent of sukiyaki, and it's fun to scoop the ingredients with a ladle. The place is always bustling with locals and people coming home from work, and I think it's a shop where you can enjoy a reliably delicious bowl with peace of mind.
