Chonggan Scotchd Rice Chicken Soup with Rice is a restaurant located across from the Gwangju Lotte Time Villa, and their chicken and duck pekseuk are particularly popular. The side dishes are also delicious, and the nurungji (crispy rice) is highly praised. The all-you-can-eat side dishes are exquisite and go well with nurungji porridge. It is also known as 'Seongyun Nurungji Pekseuk' near Baekun Lake in Gyeonggi-do, and the chicken nurungji pekseuk is delicious with little odor. The side dishes of kimchi and tongchimi are also tasty. The nurungji has a rich flavor and a good texture of glutinous rice. The price may feel high, but the nurungji is chewy and delicious. The kimchi is perfectly grilled, and the makgeolli is slightly strong.
