As I pass through the noren (fabric divider), a space with a traditional atmosphere featuring only a counter unfolds, and I feel at ease. The couple's interactions are gentle, and even as a first-time visitor, conversation flows naturally. The appetizer of simmered vegetables is well-flavored, and the essence of the vegetables comes through strongly. The whole pickled cucumber has a great crunch, and I couldn't stop eating it. The classic dishes like tamagoyaki (Japanese omelette) and tsukimi (moon-viewing) are also made with care, making the drinks go down smoothly. It's a cozy little shop where you can enjoy a friendly atmosphere, including regular customers.
