At the entrance, there is a stone mill, and just watching the process of grinding soba is exciting. The handmade zarusoba has noodles mixed with black grains that are aromatic, and the smooth texture is excellent. The dipping sauce has a perfect balance of the umami from kelp and the sweetness of soy sauce, making it a flavor you want to drink up. The tempura made from wild vegetables like maitake and koshiabura is freshly fried and crispy, pairing perfectly with the soba. You can enjoy a leisurely meal while looking at the river from the tatami seating, and the delicious water further enhances the soba. The ticket system and self-service tea make it easy to use, and thanks to the staff's careful draining, the noodles remained firm until the end.
