Reservations

Sashimi platter for one, simmered skate, tempura of cod, the sake is Kitano Katsu, very satisfied. The sashimi is squid and tuna, the best. The skate reminds me of when my mother used to cook it for me when I was a child. Nostalgic. This is my second time having skate at this restaurant. After settling the bill, I thanked the master. When I gave a thumbs up, he smiled and said thank you. Very satisfied.

There were two female employees (family members?), but it was wonderful to see the older master doing everything from cooking to billing all by himself, embodying the essence of a Showa-era man. The sashimi was, of course, excellent, and the grilled amberjack collar was also very generous in portion and fantastic!

Reservations

Fresh sea urchin is sweet! It's cheap! The sashimi is delicious! Everything is tasty! They also make things that aren't on the menu, and there are many local regulars. However, it's a shame that reservations are a must and there are no non-smoking seats. But if you're in Wakkanai, this is the place!
