I entered a traditional robatayaki restaurant along the streetcar line in Sakuragicho. In contrast to its Showa retro exterior, the interior has a cozy atmosphere created by a U-shaped counter and lanterns. The ordering method involves selecting from a menu on the wall, with a rich variety of seasonal items ranging from seafood to vegetables. When I ordered thick fried tofu, shishamo, and grilled scallops with butter, it was enjoyable to see them being prepared right in front of me with a delightful aroma. The grilled eggplant, which had its skin smoothly peeled off, and the large buri kama were both plump and had an excellent charcoal flavor. I believe this izakaya, which has been loved by locals for a long time, is a satisfying place to casually drop by.
