Located just a short drive from the east exit of Toyohashi Station, the interior of the restaurant has a calm atmosphere and is very clean. The counter and tables are arranged in a way that adds a touch of elegance to the cozy feel typical of a town Chinese restaurant. For lunch, you can choose from dishes like stir-fried pork with green peppers, twice-cooked pork, fried chicken with garlic sauce, crab omelet, mapo tofu, sliced pork with cucumber, and cold tofu, making it hard to decide. The sliced pork with cucumber is refreshing with its combination of thinly sliced pork and cucumber, and the rich sauce with garlic is appetizing. The saltiness of the twice-cooked pork is enhanced by the aroma of fermented black beans, leaving a sharp and impressive taste. I was satisfied with the details, from the umami of the chicken in the soup to the pickles served as a palate cleanser and the fun texture of crushed almond tofu.
