cafe KAWANO is a cozy café renovated from an old farmhouse that exudes a Showa retro atmosphere. In a space adorned with calm Japanese-style decor and jazz music, you can enjoy carefully crafted pizzas baked in a 500°C stone oven, as well as dishes made with locally sourced ingredients from Kumamoto.

It was very relaxing to relax in the nostalgic atmosphere of an old house, eating delicious food and chatting pleasantly with friends. It was my friend's first time and she loved it very much. She said she would like to bring her daughter next time.

Jazz music is playing in the restaurant, which is a renovated private home. We had the recommended pizza. The pizza is baked in a high-temperature stone oven at 500°C. You can enjoy the crispy pizza dough and fluffy texture. I was surprised at how quickly the pizza was served, but it seems to cook quickly because of the high temperature. It was very hot. I was very satisfied with the delicious pizza. I heard that pasta is also a popular menu item, so I would like to try it next time.
