Krasantei

The signature dish, champon, is a genuine rendition that follows the flavors of Kyushu, featuring a rich and deep broth made with plenty of vegetables such as cabbage and bean sprouts, infused with the umami of pork and seafood. The noodles have a chewy texture and are very satisfying to eat. The fried chicken pieces are large, with a crispy exterior and juicy, flavorful meat that bursts with juices inside.

The interior is compact yet creates a warm atmosphere, with counter seats arranged in a U-shape, allowing for an immersive experience where you can closely observe the cooking process. Additionally, there are raised tatami seating areas, making it a comfortable setting for both individuals and groups to enjoy their meals.

Kurasan-tei is a diner run for many years by a chef from Kagoshima Prefecture and a proprietress from Fukuoka Prefecture, based on home-cooked dishes from Kyushu. Since its establishment, it has consistently operated with the desire for customers to 'eat until they are full and feel satisfied,' and it has been long cherished by the local people of Okazaki. All dishes are handmade by the chef.
