Excellent chestnut kinton received as a souvenir Chestnut Kinton, the king of sweetness in Gifu Prefecture! There seems to be only one place to go back to in Tokyo! I was given one of these. Hinatabokko, a collaboration with Nagano Prefecture's Ichida persimmon, was also excellent. Chestnut kinton is a local delicacy of the Miwa region. It is only available in limited quantities due to the limited harvesting period. Hinatabokko is a confectionary made from sun-ripened Ichida persimmon and filled with chestnut kinton (sweetened red bean paste). I was very happy to be able to try both of these sweets. There are many sweets in the world, but there are only a few that I would like to repeat, but this chestnut kinton is one that I would like to repeat!
