You can fully enjoy seasonal Japanese cuisine in a relaxed atmosphere surrounded by natural surroundings. On my first visit to Kitahama, I was served an aperitif of plum wine. Each dish, including fish, meat, vegetables, and rice, had its own flavorful twist and was both beautiful to look at and delicious to taste. For the soup, we had matsutake mushroom and fu soup, and the mochi mochi (glutinous rice cake) of the fu was especially excellent. Finally, a dessert of green tea and bracken rice cake was also included. I would definitely like to visit this restaurant two to three times a year.
