It is a bit of a hard-to-find location, but if you follow the flag as a landmark, you can enter a calming space that resembles a private home. There is a large table in the Japanese-style room, creating an atmosphere as if you have come to visit a countryside house. The soba noodles are fragrant, with just the right amount of chewiness, making them easy to eat. The bowl topped with freshly grated wasabi that you grind yourself, combined with bonito flakes, is simple yet memorable. The tempura made with seasonal vegetables has a light and crispy batter. Even the small side dishes, tororo, and pickles have a homemade feel, and the overall harmony is very pleasant.
