Jozou Cafe Setsugekka is located in a beautifully designed building by Kengo Kuma, where you can enjoy excellent coffee along with art museum exhibitions. The 'Setsugekka Blend,' known for its meticulous siphon brewing, captivates visitors with its smooth flavor. Additionally, the handmade soba made from locally sourced Yatsumizuki buckwheat is exquisite. The natural scenery visible through the glass walls creates a pleasant atmosphere.

The glass-walled interior has a sense of openness that feels integrated with the outside, making it very pleasant. Upon entering, you can enjoy a stylish atmosphere reminiscent of an art museum, with ceramics and lacquerware on display. The mori soba made with soba from the Yatsumizuki region has a firm texture and rich aroma that makes you want to keep eating. The crispy maitake tempura has a light texture and pairs perfectly with the soba dipping sauce. The siphon-brewed coffee I ordered after the meal has a gentle mouthfeel, and the lacquerware enhances its flavor even more. I felt that this unique style, which combines a café and a soba restaurant, is a wonderful place where you can relax and unwind.
