If you go one street back from the large street where the streetcar runs, there is a calm shop with only a counter. First, I quenched my thirst with a bottle of beer and enjoyed the generous appetizers that came out. The oil-pickled chicken liver had a light yet rich flavor that made the beer disappear quickly. Next, when I ordered warm sake, the aroma spread gently and paired perfectly with the fish dishes. A salad of firefly squid and pomelo, as well as fried potato salad, arrived one after another, each with a twist, and I couldn't stop using my chopsticks. While watching the quiet young owner skillfully at work, I thoroughly enjoyed the happy combination of fish and sake.
