I was looking for lunch in Minamikawachi, but I was having trouble because all the restaurants were closed. So I ordered zaru soba at a soba restaurant I found. I had a pound and a half of Zaru-soba with sharkskin Chojiro and a sprinkle of fresh wasabi. It had a whole yolk in it, and I wasn't sure when to eat it, but the buckwheat flour was very fragrant and the buckwheat flour was stone ground and delicious. After eating about half of it, we had the yolk mixed in and it became entwined and mellow. Finally, we finished it off with soba water. It was a delicious lunch.
