It is an old two-story wooden building, and the entrance curtain is lovely. I was shown to a tatami room, where the space between the seats is wide, and gentle music plays, creating a calming atmosphere. The seasonal assortment changes, making it enjoyable, and even the soba tofu and jelly dishes are prepared with care. The tempura is light and crispy with vegetables, and when enjoyed with powdered salt, the umami is enhanced. The soba noodles are thin and fragrant, with a 9:1 ratio that gives them a nice chewiness, and I enjoyed the soba broth as well. The duck in the Yanagawa style and the grilled salt duck left a lasting impression with their gentle broth and simple seasoning, and I was satisfied with the dessert of anmitsu and brown sugar ice cream.
