The homely small bowls lined up on the counter caught my eye, and they were all colorful and exciting. Thanks to the warm hospitality of the female staff, I felt relaxed even while drinking alone. The first dish I had, a platter of oden, was well-soaked in broth, and I couldn't help but savor it slowly. Next, the fried salmon and scallops I ordered had a crispy coating, and the taste of the sea spread in my mouth. The stuffed shiitake mushrooms and bell peppers were also just the right size, making them perfect for snacking. Finally, the extra-large rice ball and the miso soup filled with ingredients that came out at the end satisfied both my stomach and my heart, and I was very pleased.
