In June, a melon fell in love with a cherry. A friend of mine overseas posted on FB that she wanted to go to a sweets buffet! We immediately decided to go when we get back! I really wanted to go during the strawberry fair in spring! In June, cherries fell in love with melons... Cherry and Melon Buffet! I love melons so much! It's my favorite fruit when I was growing up! The place is about a 5 minute walk from Osaka-jo Koen station! I had seen the outside of the hotel many times, but this was my first time inside! I thought to myself, "It's been around for a long time..." and then I realized it was the hotel's 30th anniversary! I didn't realize the hotel has been in business for such a long time! Indeed, I feel a little bit of that in every part of the store! SATSUKILOUNGE is located in the middle of the first floor! It's not as big as I thought it would be, but it's small and cozy. First of all, melon juice with cherries was served. When the time comes, the battle begins! You tell the staff what you want and they will take the cake! At any rate, the melon shortcake is said to be 1,500 yen per cut, so you definitely have to eat it! Cherry Opera, melon jelly, pudding, super roll cake, super cheesecake and I've already piled up a lot of food! The melon shortcake is moist and the melon is in between the sponge! The cream is light and easy to eat, but not worth the 1,500 yen per cut... I think it's a quarter because of this size... The hotel's special pancakes are warm because they are cooking all the time! They are fluffy, chunky, and soooo delicious! I think it may have been the most delicious sweet of the day! Not only sweets, but also curry, pasta, sandwiches and more! When you've had enough of sweet, sweet, sweet, sweet, you'll want something with a little saltiness, right? I was glad to see such a variety here! When you hear the price of 5,000 yen, do you think it's a bit expensive? If they'd let me enjoy more melons and cherries, I'd have been satisfied... ⛰🍓Mountains of Amaou🍓⛰. I think there might be some if you look for it in Fukuoka Prefecture, but I don't know 🤔. I heard that the trees are full of amaou and there are amaou hanging all over the area. LOL🍓
