At the mountain lodge, the view is expansive and very pleasant. I took off my shoes and sat down in the tatami room, allowing me to enjoy my meal in a relaxed manner. The signature dish, the lunch curry, has a deep flavor with a hint of spice, and it is delicious. I appreciate being able to add as much fukujinzuke (pickled vegetables) and pickled shallots as I like. I can adjust the amount of rice and salad to my liking, making it easy to eat even after a tiring hike. In addition to curry, there are also ochazuke (rice in tea) and cup noodles, and there are badges available, which is fun.
