A Simple Taste of Udon and Dashi (Japanese soup stock) We came on an udon tour! We had one bowl of udon at Udon Baka Ichidai and then went to the second restaurant! After searching for a nearby restaurant that opens early in the morning, we came to Sakae! I don't know where it is, so I'll skip explaining the location... Sorry! Thank goodness there is a parking lot for 14 cars next to the store! The restaurant has simple tables and chairs. Order at the counter, and udon noodles will be given to you after you pay. I ordered a small udon with broth (180 yen). Put it in a net and heat it up by yourself. Once warmed, add soup stock, sprinkle with condiments, and voila! Bon appétit! Udon noodles have a gentle texture and are not too tough. The broth is simple with a hint of dried small sardines. The! Simple! It's so simple that I get a little bored with it. I heat up the udon noodles, but I don't know how much to heat them up and they end up lukewarm. I couldn't get it right. I heard that there are many self-serve udon restaurants in Kagawa. If it's your first time, you may hesitate and find it hard to understand! The waitresses are not always so kind to help you out. I think this is a good place to start with a gentle udon first thing in the morning! Thank you very much for the food!
