Lively Bar with Hearty Texas Comfort Food
Texas Cafe & Bar, known locally as The Spoon, is a long-standing neighborhood bar pairing live-music energy with unexpectedly robust Texas comfort food. Guests highlight dishes such as brisket fries, chicken fried steak, and a chopped-brisket frito pie. The bar is known for its margaritas, including a popular blue version, and attentive service. Despite its vintage feel and lively volume, the space is noted for being well kept.
