As I pass through the traditional wooden sliding door, a comforting, homely space unfolds before me. The homemade konnyaku served while waiting for the kamameshi to cook has a delightful chewy texture and the richness of sesame syrup that left me impressed. The kamameshi brought to my table is packed with ingredients, and the moment I open the lid, steam and aroma burst forth. Especially the fluffy oysters and large shiitake mushrooms blend beautifully with the rice, allowing me to fully savor the flavors of the ingredients. There are plenty of vegetable-centered side dishes like salad, small bowls, and a warm bowl of somen, making my body feel happy. Thanks to the warm greetings from the owner and the colorful paper decorations displayed in the restaurant, I was able to enjoy my meal slowly, as if I were at a friend's house.
