I was pleasantly surprised to encounter fragrant, thin 2:8 soba when I casually stopped by near Lake Megami. The flavor expands with each bite, and the slightly sweet dipping sauce clings perfectly, making it very easy to eat. The crispy tempura, featuring large shrimp and seasonal vegetables, is so crunchy that it brings a smile to my face. The tanuki soba is packed with ingredients like wild vegetables and kamaboko, providing a satisfying volume. The tororo soba has a chewy and generous amount of tororo, and the smooth texture going down is superb. The kind proprietress and the shy chef welcome you, making it a relaxing experience whether you're with family or alone.
