The storefront is lined with fruits and vegetables, creating an atmosphere that makes you want to peek inside. Inside, there are tables and tatami rooms, and the retro, calm ambiance is pleasant. The signboard suggests that the specialty is miso stew, but this time I chose the light udon. The simple broth, infused with the aroma of soy sauce, pairs well with the smooth, round handmade noodles. There is also a set that includes tempura rice bowl, and everything has a gentle flavor that is comforting. I was delighted to receive an apple on my way out; it was a small but thoughtful gesture.
