In a calming space centered around the counter, the warm hospitality of the family is pleasant. There is joy in choosing from large platters of food and the menu with tags, and you can feel the quality of the selection. In particular, the special simmered offal has a soft richness from the miso, and the yuzu pepper enhances the aroma. The shirasu (whitebait) omelet, the simmered dishes with a rich dashi flavor, and the sashimi platter all convey the deliciousness of the ingredients well. The umeshu (plum wine) is moderately sweet with a clean aftertaste, and it pairs perfectly with draft beer and sours. Although it is lively with many regulars, the atmosphere is such that even first-timers can naturally blend in.
