The stepping stones and gravel path leading to the entrance enhance the Japanese atmosphere, making me excited even before entering. The interior combines the traditional feel of an izakaya with the calmness of semi-private rooms, allowing me to relax and unwind. The daily special of grilled pork with sauce was surprisingly tender, and the flavorful sauce made the rice go down easily. The fried gyoza was fragrant, with the meat juices well-contained, making it feel more substantial than just a side dish. The lightly sweet homemade tomato sauce on the fried white fish and the salad-style cold beef shabu were both light in flavor, not heavy at all until the end. The seats separated by fabric screens allowed for a comfortable experience without worrying about the neighbors, making it a place where friends can enjoy themselves or even dine alone with peace of mind.
