The interior is clean and you can relax comfortably at the raised seating and counter. The fish dishes are particularly good, and I was delighted by the freshness of the squid sashimi. The handmade miso-marinated turban shell has a great texture, and the seasoning of the miso is just right, making it perfect for enjoying with drinks. Both the staff and regular customers are warm and welcoming, making it easy to feel at home even as a tourist. I was a bit nervous at first, but once I started talking, we had a great time discussing Katsuura. With its cozy atmosphere and careful cooking, I think it's a wonderful place where you can enjoy eating and drinking comfortably.
