When you enter a traditional diner near the station, a warm atmosphere spreads around you. It has a style where you buy meal tickets from a vending machine, making it easy to choose and relaxed. The specialty yakisoba has a unique style coated in soup, and the chewy noodles slide down smoothly. Cabbage and pork are hidden beneath the noodles, and as you eat, you gradually feel the sweetness and umami. The handmade gyoza has a thinner skin with a fragrant sear, and the balance of juicy vegetables and meat is excellent. The fried chicken and fried rice also have a careful flavor, making it a fun place where you want to order various dishes.

The moment I took a bite of the yakisoba with plenty of soup, I was hooked by its unique umami flavor. The slightly softer noodles soaked in the sauce create a deliciousness that lingers. The cabbage and pork that peek out from underneath the noodles add a fun textural accent. The shallow plate allows you to easily scoop up the soup until the very end, making it a pleasure to finish. I also felt comforted by the cozy atmosphere of the small shop that retains a Showa-era vibe and the warm hospitality of the couple running it. Watching all the customers at the tables eagerly slurping their yakisoba made me realize, 'This place really is amazing.'
