As I enter the shop, a nostalgic atmosphere wafts through, making me feel at ease. The quiet owner and the friendly proprietress greet me quietly. The specialty dish, simmered fish, has a deep flavor enhanced by soy sauce, making it delicious enough to crave rice. Although the pieces are large, they are free of any unpleasant smell, and the bones are tender, making them easy to eat. The carp sashimi is plump, and a refreshing umami spreads across the palate. I hear that the eel is prepared after ordering, which reflects the craftsman's careful attitude.
