This is an old-fashioned soba restaurant just a short walk from the station, and the calm atmosphere is very pleasant. As you pass under the white noren curtain, there are table seats and a raised area, and the gentle sound of the koto brings a sense of relaxation. The thin noodles are firm and well-chilled in cold water, with sharp edges, and their aroma is delightful, spreading deliciousness with each bite. The dipping sauce is rich in umami from the broth, with a hint of sweetness that gives it an Edo-style flavor, making it easy to slurp. The mori soba comes with a quail egg on the side, and mixing it in halfway adds richness and makes it enjoyable. After the meal, you can even savor the rich soba broth, leaving you feeling very satisfied.
