The moment I laid eyes on the small building that exudes the warmth of wood, I was drawn into the world of Japanese aesthetics. Following the exterior adorned with traditional umbrellas and patterned curtains, the interior is filled with cute Japanese accessories, creating a very calming space. The menu features an array of delightful options such as warabi mochi, daifuku, anmitsu, and zenzai, all of which are so appealing that it’s hard to choose. The melt-in-your-mouth fresh warabi mochi made with wasanbon has a refined sweetness that pairs perfectly with the accompanying black syrup. The rice flour chiffon cake and the flower anmitsu coated in black sesame cream also offered a fluffy and chewy texture that was enjoyable. The selection of teas, including matcha latte and hojicha latte, is abundant, and when paired with the Japanese sweets, it truly relaxes the soul.
