It's a small shop with only a counter, but the warm atmosphere makes you feel at ease. The chef sources fish every morning from the fishing port, so the freshness of every fish is outstanding. When you order the recommendations written on the blackboard, you won't be disappointed with anything, from the sashimi platter to the grilled dishes. In particular, the crab shell filled with red snow crab and the whole grilled eel were luxuries you wouldn't expect from an izakaya. The balance of the sweet soy sauce and condiments is exquisite, perfectly enhancing the flavor of the fish. Pairing it with local sake makes for the best time to fully enjoy the seasonal flavors.
