Upon entering the store, black wooden tables are neatly arranged, and the neon Hangul on the walls provides a nice accent. The sundubu soup is steaming hot, and the egg and soft tofu wrap the spiciness, making it easy to eat. The small side dishes of kimchi and boiled dumplings allow for a variety of flavors, making it hard to resist reaching for more. Adding rice to the soup little by little enhances the umami, and I was able to enjoy it all the way to the end. The kimchi fried rice is topped with shredded seaweed and a runny fried egg, which is visually appealing and aromatic, whetting the appetite. The authentic Korean language heard from the staff and the casual option for takeout make it a pleasant place to spend time.
