The broth has a subtle bonito aroma that spreads pleasantly, leaving a clean aftertaste. Mixing in a little grated ginger, green onions, and tempura bits changes the flavor and adds to the enjoyment. The tempura, including perilla leaves, whole green peppers, and squid, is fragrant, and the soft-boiled egg tempura is creamy and delicious.
