I stopped by and had handmade soba. Two different styles of soba were served on one plate, allowing me to clearly enjoy the differences in aroma and texture. The dark, rustic noodles have a firm chewiness, and the flavor of the soba expands with each bite. The dipping sauce is light, which enhances the taste of the noodles, and I appreciate that. The maitake mushroom tempura has a light batter, and the aroma of it being freshly fried is irresistible. The two types of soba are satisfying for soba lovers, leaving a pleasant aftertaste.
