The exterior resembles a renovated traditional farmhouse, and as you ascend the stairs and take off your shoes, a comforting atmosphere unfolds. The set meal I ordered for lunch began with a colorful array of appetizers, highlighting the flavors of the vegetables. For the main course, I chose fish and seafood, and the grilling of the swordfish and Spanish mackerel was exquisite, with an irresistible aroma. The freshly fried tempura had a crispy and light batter, making it hard to stop eating. The clam soup, filled with large clams, released a scent of the sea, and I found myself enjoying the white rice more and more. This is a perfect place to leisurely enjoy Japanese cuisine, away from the hustle and bustle of tourists, while exploring Kamakura.
