This hidden izakaya located at the back of a sake shop warmly welcomes you even if you just drop in. The cozy interior, centered around the counter, has a calm atmosphere, and I naturally struck up conversations with the other customers. A variety of local sake from Kanagawa is lined up, and its refreshing taste enhances the dishes. The sashimi platter is cut thick and incredibly fresh, and the rich salted fish roe pairs perfectly with the drinks. The smoked fried chicken has a delightful aroma that makes you crave white rice. Thanks to the cheerful staff's hospitality, I ended up spending a pleasantly long time there without even realizing it.
