The warm and traditional Japanese-style decor is delightful, and I appreciate being able to choose between tables and tatami seating. The older staff members greet you warmly, making for a very comfortable atmosphere. There is a wide variety of options, including soba, udon, and rice bowls, so everyone in the family can enjoy their meal. The shrimp tempura soba makes a crackling sound when it arrives, releasing a savory aroma. The mountain vegetable soba is generously topped with grated yam, and the broth is perfectly balanced, offering a gentle flavor. The noodles are easy to eat and satisfying, even when paired with tempura or rice bowls.
