As always, the bonito salt tataki was excellent. The restaurant manager kindly told us about other recommendations of the day, so we enjoyed the food while having a good conversation with him. I also ordered the rice cooked in the first pot with three different kinds of rice from Kochi, and it was great to be able to taste the different flavors of each rice. If I ever visit Kochi, I will definitely go to this restaurant.

This is my second time here. It is a must-visit restaurant if you are in Kochi, where you can enjoy the freshest dishes such as bonito tataki, deep-fried moray eel, and dorome. It was a very happy time again. The combination of one cup of cooked rice and Tosa Jiro's egg omelet is also superb! If you go to Kochi, I highly recommend making a reservation.

Finally, I was able to make a reservation to enter Nijyutei. The entrance to the restaurant was very confusing and I had only recently found it, but I looked it up and was excited to see how popular it seemed to be. The owner had a wide variety of snacks to go with the drinks, such as tataki and tempura, depending on the fish. The bonito tataki that he grilled in front of us was superb. It was thick and very tasty. I had the impression that this is indeed a popular restaurant.

If you come to Kochi, this is the place to go! This restaurant is so famous that locals say, "If you come to Kochi, this is the place to be! When you enter, the restaurant is always full and reservations are a must! The most recommended dish is the salted bonito tataki! The meat is thick and the salt and garlic slices are a perfect match for the bonito! The buttered nagataro clams are a dish that you can't have without sake! The menu is full of such exquisite dishes that you'll want to go back every day!
