When I visited Furano, my parents and I wanted to eat soba (buckwheat noodles), and we went into Jurokubun. The restaurant is in the style of an old private house, so it is not easy to find and you can easily miss it. It took a while for the food to arrive because the restaurant is run by a couple. They recommended the Nishin-soba, which I tried and enjoyed very much. It was the best buckwheat noodle restaurant I have ever eaten. The restaurant was bright and had a nice atmosphere. We entered around 1:00 p.m., and they had just run out of soba noodles, so we had the impression that the restaurant was quite popular. If you visit Furano, you might want to drop by there at least once.
