A cozy izakaya with a charming atmosphere

"Obako" is an izakaya with a name derived from Yamagata, offering fresh sake dishes while avoiding Akita cuisine. Regular customers are leisurely drinking at the counter, and the calming atmosphere is pleasant. There are also sunken kotatsu seats where you can relax and chat. The tofu salad has a nice aroma of seaweed and can be enjoyed refreshingly with a Japanese-style dressing. The horse sashimi pairs well with ginger and garlic condiments, and the simmered offal has cabbage as a nice accent. The fried chicken and black broth oden (with mini tomatoes, eggs, konjac, etc.) are also irresistibly delicious. It pairs well with beer, hoppy, highballs, and shochu, and many people enjoy it by the bottle, making it a comfortable place.
