Kura Obihachi

The café renovated from a warehouse is a calm space where antique furniture and dim lighting harmonize. With pleasant music, you can spend a relaxed time, creating special moments. In summer, it offers a refreshing atmosphere, providing comfort to visitors.

This café was created from a project led by students of Tohoku University of Art and Design, utilizing a building that was once a rice warehouse. It continues to provide new culture to the community as an attempt to make use of dormant warehouses in the city. The first floor is used as a café, while the second floor serves as an exhibition room.
