When I ordered the platter of game meat, the venison was surprisingly tender with little odor, making it very easy to eat. The horse meat tataki also had a refreshing taste, and trying both ginger soy sauce and garlic soy sauce changed the flavor dramatically, which was interesting. The sweet corn tempura was crispy, and the aroma that spread in my mouth the moment I took a bite was delightful. The grilled half striped mackerel, unique to Hokkaido, had plump flesh, and the fat oozed out deliciously. Alternating between a chilled draft beer and a sweet potato shochu with a lychee aroma was the perfect combination. There were also many slightly unusual creative dishes born from the owner's Western cuisine experience, making the time spent relaxing at the counter enjoyable.
