It is made from sencha cultivated around Lake Hamana in Shizuoka Prefecture. Among Shizuoka tea, the sencha produced in Hamana, which is grown in a sunny area with good drainage, has a high aroma when roasted, characterized by a refreshing roasted flavor and a cool umami.
This tea is primarily made from second flush tea leaves from Asamiya in Shiga Prefecture and Yame in Fukuoka Prefecture, blended with domestically produced brown rice.

By adding matcha from Nishio, we have created a gyokuro genmaicha that not only has the roasted and refreshing taste of genmaicha but also a deep umami flavor.
This tea uses Asahina Gyokuro from Shizuoka. It is recommended for those times when you want to indulge a little. You can enjoy the unique sweetness and deep aroma of Gyokuro.
