When you visit during lunchtime, the restaurant is lively and the counter is pleasantly busy. Once seated, it's fun to first grab some thick fried tofu and konjac from the self-service oden corner. The thick fried tofu, which has absorbed the flavors, and the chewy konjac pair perfectly with the broth, making it hard to stop eating. The main dish I ordered, the tonkatsu set meal, has a crispy coating and a strong flavor of the meat, making it impossible to stop eating the rice. The small udon that comes with it has a gentle broth based on kelp, and the chewy noodles are well-coated; adding tempura scraps enhances the aroma. Other dishes like fried chicken and gyoza are also consistently good, making it a place where you can casually enjoy a meal with family and friends.
