As soon as I sat at the counter, the calm atmosphere of the restaurant was pleasant and comforting. The first dish that came out was a fluffy and sweet omelet, and the rising steam heightened my expectations. Next, when I bit into the grilled liver, the tenderness and savoriness combined in a way that made me want another serving. The star of the meal, the eel, had a lightly crispy exterior and a melt-in-your-mouth moist interior, allowing me to enjoy its aroma as well. The elegant and light sauce blended well with the eel, and I was able to finish it without feeling heavy at all. Coupled with the attentive service, it turned into a wonderful time that left both my body and spirit satisfied after the meal.

The cozy interior of the restaurant is calm and very comfortable. The first dish that came out, a platter of appetizers, is colorful and you can feel the craftsmanship in each item. The grilled fish cake wrapped in corn and the fragrant grilled liver were particularly impressive, bringing a smile to my face. The main dish, unaju (grilled eel over rice), has tender meat and a gentle sauce that seeps into the rice, making me feel happy just from the aroma. When I take a bite of the tender eel with the hot rice, the umami spreads throughout my mouth. Pairing it with sake enhances the flavors of the dishes, and I finished my meal feeling completely satisfied.
