The quiet interior of the renovated traditional house creates a relaxing atmosphere as soon as you enter. The enzyme brown rice is surprisingly chewy, and with every bite, a natural sweetness spreads. The plant-based side dishes, such as the car-fried gluten cutlet and soy protein nanban, are diverse and enjoyable in texture. The small bowls of vinegared dishes and onion marinated tofu have a gentle flavor that feels good for the body. The Thai-style green curry is not too spicy and has a mellow taste, pairing excellently with the brown rice. I was completely satisfied with the coffee and the whole grain chiffon cake with sweet sake that I had after the meal.
