We had a meal at a restaurant located deep within the roadside station. First, the 100% buckwheat soba had a rich aroma, and it paired perfectly with the soy sauce-based dipping sauce. When we generously mixed in the mushroom and grated daikon, it became refreshing while deepening the umami flavor. The specialty, the mountain bandit grilled chicken, was crispy and the aroma of garlic and ginger stimulated our appetite. When we placed the mountain bandit grilled chicken on top of the soba, the meat juices mixed with the dipping sauce, making it impossible to stop eating. The ticket system made the process smooth, so it’s a wonderful place to stop by casually during a drive.
